Can we choose the music?

Yes, we welcome your input into the music played, whether that be background music early on, or for dancing later on. We would howeever advise that it's important to allow your DJ a certain amount of judgement based on his or her experience, in order to make the night flow well and ensure all your guests listen to and dance to something they like. The best thing is to contact us, for a chat about your specific needs, with no obligation to book with us.

How long do you need to setup?

To provide equipment for up to around 200 guests, including lighting, we'd take a maximum of 1 hour, although typically only between 30 - 45 minutes, depending on how close we can park to the room we're playing in. Our LED lighting service takes longer, although we'd arrive in the morning with plenty of time to setup. Video projection also typically takes an extra 20-30minutes to setup. If you're holding a larger Wedding, or don't have a long enough window for us to setup in, it may be worth adding an early setup on our online quote system, to ensure we're ready to go when you need us!

Can you setup in the morning/afternoon?

Yes, simply choose this option on our online quote system.


Do you have Public Liability Insurance (PLI)?

Yes, all our DJs carry public liability of between £2 - £10million. Please advise us of what value your venue requires, so we can be sure to have that amount and forward certificates in advance of your wedding.

Is your equipment safety (PAT) tested?

Yes, this is done on an annual basis to comply with the Health & Safety at Work regulations. Please ask us to forward proof of this to your venue, should they ask to see this.

Do you hold the ProDub licence?

The ProDub licence is a new license allowing professional DJs (amongst other professions) to legally copy music from a shop bought CD to a computer, laptop or digital playout device for use in their performance. All our DJs who use such a system hold the required licence for the amount of tracks they use. We can provide this licence on request.

When should we book?

Typically, most weekend dates in high season (May to September) are booked a year or more in advance, although we do often have late availability, so please still contact us.
